JUNIOR REID WORKING ON HIS NEW PROJECT...

In other events this weekend, I had the pleasure of taking Junior Reid to Boss nightclub for a special cameo appearance Fiday night. Special thanks to Zim and ABB Records, as Junior was cool as shit. Junior was recently in the studio with Swiss Beats and has new tracks with him, Lil Wayne, Fat Joe, Snoop, Cool & Dre. All are set to feature on his new Album "The Living Legend". Above is a snippet of the Lil Wayne track...
So this past week had to be one of the best of late...Starting with a gift from above as RAS KASS graced the Mixtape Family with his presence this past Wednesday! He was our cameo guest host last week courtesy of our Oh Dang Mag/ Medium Rare family, Arjay. By the way check out the store mediumraresf.com on 2387 Ocean Ave. KASSY is not only a real game spitter on the Mic, but can also carry on some in depth game session convo as he held court outside(amongst some of the realest 415 shit talkers)...discussing hip hop life, from his beef with Game to Jay Z verses Nas opinions from NY to Cali!! With the Mic in one hand and a drink in the other...the dude was enjoyin himself. I haven't experienced such realness from an artist at an event(maybe in the VIP)...So Special shout out to him once again!! That unreleased Van Gough album is still one of my all time Favs!!

Attended the Kev Choice Ensemble Tribute for "A Tribe Called Quest" the other night. The show was crazy!!! So much energy in the performers, and all the people involved. The legendary Phife Dawg made an appearance, and blessed the crowd with his lyrical skills for a couple tracks. The full band was jamming all night long to a packed house, with many other special guests hopping on a stage for a chance to pay their dues. All in all the show was great. Visuals by the Illuminati lit the place up, and gave the Down Low a killer feel. Defiantly look forward to future shows here, as well as whats in store for Kev Choice Ensemble... Make sure to vote for them in the SF WEEKLY Music Awards, ending Oct. 14th.
